Racing Incidents

Jockey Mohanlal (ASHWA JOSHILA) has been fined Rs.3,000/ for failing to sufficiently persevere with his mount in the straight. ASHWA JOSHILA was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer who reported there was saddle surcingle sores on both sides and no racing significance. Trainer S Ali Khan has been asked to obtain a certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

Jockey C Umesh (HURACAN) reported that his mount did not improve in the straight. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Officer and was found to be sound.

FAR AWAY was extremely fractious before being loaded and was withdrawn before coming in under starter’s order. Trainer Bharat T Singh has been asked to give sufficient gate practice before next accepting to race.
