Racing Incidents

At the start, SURAAGNA (Pradeep Kumar) was slowly away and lost about two lengths.

Jockey Bhanu Pratap Singh (SOLARIUM) was severely reprimanded for failing to persevere with his mount.

Jockey R Yousaf (VICTORIOUS KING) when questioned stated that he was instructed to be in the last
position. On questioning, Trainer Rajinder stated that he had asked the Jockey to be in fifth position, close
to the field and opined that the Jockey should have been closer to the field. Not being entirely satisfied
with the explanation of the Jockey but keeping in mind that it was the first run of the gelding, the jockey
has been cautioned for riding an injudicious race.
