Racing Incidents

At the start, GALLOP AWAY (Praveen Saini) and TOP SECRET (Dhanu S Deora) made contact with each other. Trainer Bharat T Singh was questioned regarding the running of GALLOP AWAY wherein the gelding was found to have trailed the field again. The Trainer stated that even he was disappointed with the gelding and he appears to have lost his form. He added that he would try to change the equipment and would give sufficient time before he accepts with the gelding next time. Jockey Praveen Saini also reported that the gelding did not respond to his urgings.

SHENGLI was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders, as the horse was extremely fractious and reluctant to proceed to the start. As a consequence of SHENGLI being withdrawn, no deduction on win, but a deduction of 20% on Place bets was affected.

Near 700 metres, SEAHORSE (R Yousaf) was steadied off the heels of TOP SECRET (Dhanu Singh Deora).
