Racing Incidents

At the start, ASHWA GARIMA (Khet Singh) jumped out awkwardly & lost about 2 lengths.

An Objection was lodged by Jockey GS Shekhawat (ASHWA SHWETA), Placed 2nd by the Judge against JET (Akash Rajput), Winner, “for shifting in sharply starting from 850 meters and cut across my mount, I had to stop my horse to avoid clipping the heels which cost me a certain race.”

The Stewards held an enquiry after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after having viewed video recording of the incident and having heard the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their own judgment, decided to uphold the Objection and revised the Order of Placing as under:

First    -    ASHWA SHWETA;    Third -    GOLDEN TICKET
Second -    JET;    Fourth -    SPARKLING THEA

Jockey Akash Rajput (JET) was fined Rs.2000/- for causing interference to ASHWA SHWETA(GS Shekhawat) who shifted in and caused interference to EMBATTLED (App Angad) who lost ground.

Jockey GS Shekhawat (ASHWA SHWETA) was fined Rs. 3,000/- for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit.

An enquiry has been initiated into running & riding of GOLDEN TICKET.
