Racing Incidents

At the start, GIRL POWER (Ishwar Singh) and ASHWA SABIRA (K Narender Kumar) jumped awkwardly inwards and went on to ROYAL ASCOT (Akash Rajput) and MASTER BADAL (SG Prasad) respectively.

Soon after the start, KAYA (Naresh Kumar) shifted in and carried IMBALI (S Amjad Khan) inwards. Jockey Naresh Kumar was reprimanded for his lapse.

Near 800 meters, IMBALI (S Amjad Khan) was tightened for room as KAYA (Naresh Kumar) shifted in. Jockey Naresh Kumar has been fined Rs.1,000/-.

THOUGHTS (TS Jodha) lugged-out in the straight, thereby placing its Rider at a disadvantage. Trainer VS Parmar has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

Jockey S Amjad Khan (IMBALI) was questioned with regard to his feeble riding effort in the straight. The Jockey stated that he was scared after the interference near 800 metres and he could not fully ride out. Not being satisfied with the Jockey’s explanation, he has been severely reprimanded for not making sufficient effort in the straight.

After the race, THOUGHTS and KAYA were found to be sound.
