Racing Incidents

At the start, ADORABLE (Ishwar Singh) lost about 2 length.

Approaching 250 meters, Jockey Akash Rajput (TOO GOOD) shifted IN and caused a severe interference to KAKA (S G Prasad) who clipped the heels of TOO GOOD and suffered a fall.

KAKA was observed to be lame from its left fore leg. Trainer Shakti Singh has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.

After the last race, Jockey Akash Rajput (TOO GOOD) was reported to the Stewards for Dangerous Riding.

The Stewards considered the recommendation of the Stipendiary Stewards and having viewed the video of the race and heard the submission of jockey Akash Rajput.

Not being satisfied with his explanation the Stewards held jockey Akash Rajput guilty of dangerous riding wherein he shifted IN without caring for safety of others and took the ground of KAKA (SG Parsad) who clipped the hind heels of TOO GOOD and suffered a fall.

In view of the above the Stewards decided to :

A)        Suspend jockey Akash Rajput license for Dangerous riding for eight race days i.e 23rd January to 13th March 2023 (both days inclusive) (permitted to ride work). He was informed of his right to appeal.
