Racing Incidents

At the start, SUPER SPEED (App. Varun) took an awkward jump.

Jockey R Yousaf (ROYAL BABY) was reprimanded for dropping his hand before passing the wining post.

Trainer Ajay Sharma and App. Jockey Varun were questionedregardingrunning and riding of SUPER SPEED. Trainer Ajay Sharma stated that he had instructedthe riderto sit 3/4th and he was satisfied with Jockey riding.App. Jockey Varun confirmed the instruction and stated that thehorse took awkward jump and therefore he could not positionthe horse as instructed. Replay of the race was shown and it was pointed out that App. Jockey Varun seems not to take proper jump and there after horse was keen how ever, he restrained the horse for nearly 150 meters therefore not being satisfied with theirexplanation, both Trainer and Jockey were fined Rs.5,000/-each for unsatisfactory running and riding in the early part of the race.
