Racing Incidents

At the start, CLETUS (M B Qureshi) took an awkward jump.

Trainer S M Abbas and Jockey M B Qureshi were questioned regarding running and riding of CLETUS, jockey informed that he was instructed to settle his mount in 6th / 7th position and ride out after coming into the straight. Trainer confirmed his instruction. Since CLETUS was capable to be in a forward position and has also won a race this season therefore, Trainer S M Abbas was fined Rs.5,000/- for improper instruction.

Jockey R Parvesh (MERIDIA) was fined Rs 3000/- for travelling wide negotiating the bend for no apparent reason.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of FUEL (Jai Parkash).

Veterinary examination of MERIDIA, CLETUS and FUEL revealed no apparent abnormality.
