Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw DRIVEN (Vijay Kumar) on veterinary grounds, as it was lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey Ahsan Qureshi the rider of GET GORGEOUS reported that his saddle shifted back, passing the 1000 Metres and that he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter. After examination of the equipment after the race, Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.
