Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, EXCEPTIONAL (D Singh). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar and Jockey K P G Appu were questioned regarding the running and riding of FAMOUS FOR FREE and their explanations were noted. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. G T Surender to the Stewards for the reversal of form of his charge, TIME TO SPARKLE (N Tauseef Ahmed), the winner of this race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.68 of the Mysore Winter Races 2007-08, i.e., The Solitaire Cup - Div. II (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 50, run on Tenth Day, Wednesday, 9th January, 2008, when ridden by Jockey Shanth Kumar, it ran unplaced. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mr. G T Surender. After deliberations, they decided to give the benefit of doubt to Trainer Mr. G T Surender in this instance and
