Racing Incidents
M.A.Tarun Thimmiah was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declarations in respect of the charge BRAVE SOLDER as regards shoeing. Jockey S.Chandrashekar the rider of Father`s Glory placed II by the judge objected against Jockey M.D.Praveen . The rider of WINDSOR SQUARE placed I for " in the last 150 Metres he pulled his mount towards the left and did not maintain a straight course whereby it cost me a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations they decided to over rule the objection and subsequently the objection has been over ruled. The Stewards decided that the deposit of Rs.2,500/- made by Jockey S.Chandrashekar may be forfeited as it was a frivolous objection. FATHERS GLORY (S.Chandrasehkar) sustained a clip injury on left hind fetlock.
