Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge STINGER. Subsequently `all black` emergency colours were permitted to be used. Jockey D. Mahendran, the rider of GALVANIZE weighed out with the wrong colours. On questioning, the Jockey stated that he had worn the colours given by the trainer. On enquiring with the Clerk of the Scales he stated that he had informed the Jockey that he was weighing out with the wrong colour cap and to change it, in spite of that the Jockey wore the wrong cap.
