Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to withdraw LOVELY RED (Vijay Kumar) on veterinary grounds as it was trotting lame on left hind after its fall in the saddling enclosure. The horse even after withdrawal, with the ailment was brought to the paddock and hence was ordered to be taken out. After due enquiry, Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for his negligence in the discharge of his duties as a Trainer pertaining to his charge, LOVELY RED. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
