Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. T Natraj was fined Rs.10,000/- by the stewards for accepting his charge QUEENS CRUISE (Md. Sameer) to run in the above race without completing the legal formalities pertaining to transfer of ownership of the said horse. Subsequently it was permitted to be withdrawn.
As Jockey Gaurav Sapra the declared rider of ASPIRING SEVEN could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement for the reasons beyond his control, permission was granted Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to substitute Jockey M Madhu Babu to ride his charge in place of the declared rider.
CARIBBEEAN PIRATE (B Srinivas Rao) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced CATAPULT (B Sreekanth), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.
It was observed that saddle of CATAPULT (B Sreekanth) shifted back, rounding the final bend. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.
It was reported after the race that CARIBBEAN PIRATE (B Srinivas Rao) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
LAND OF SMILES (S Mubarak) - Was slowly away.
