An enquiry is being continued into the circumstances under which FAVOURITE (Melvyn Maseyk) had to be withdrawn from the above Race, trained by Mr. Vishal Yadav.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the declared rider of FAVOURITE, to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No. 101(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that, he indulged in an act of grave misconduct after having accepted to ride the horse FAVOURITE in the above Race and he deliberately refused to fulfill his obligations by not riding the horse and in this connection, while being questioned by the Stewards at the Boardroom of the Mysore Race Club Limited prior to the running of the Second Race, his behaviour towards them was quite unbecoming of a Licensed Jockey. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race on 22^nd June, 2011, and examined Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav and Jockey Melvyn Maseyk. After deliberations, they decided to (a) fine Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav a sum of Rs.10,000/- for his negligence in discharge of his duties as a Trainer; and (b) suspend Jockey’s License granted to Jockey Melvyn Maseyk from 12-07-2011 to 03-08-2011 (both days inclusive) and further refer him to the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club Limited for further action as they deem fit, for contravention of Rule No.101(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing (not permitted to ride work) in respect of his mount, FAVOURITE, in the above Race.

The Stewards ordered and held an enquiry immediately after the Race into the running of the Race and examined Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath and Jockey M A Milan. After deliberations, the Stewards, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them under Rule 31(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing, decided to declare the race Null and Void.

Further, enquiry is being held into the running and riding of of AERIAL ACROBAT, trained by Mr. M Pratap Kamath and ridden by Jockey M A Milan.

Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of AERIAL ACROBAT reported that his saddle shifted back in the last 200 Metres. But on examination it was observed to be normal.

AERIAL ACROBAT (M.A. Milan) was impounded for veterinary examination at the request of the trainer, but no abnormality was reported by the Senior Veterinary Officer.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b.f. AERIAL ACROBAT.

FAVOURITE (Melvyn Maseyk)  Was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order.

FLY FANTASY (N Ravinder Singh)  Was slowly away.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of AERIAL ACROBAT to the Stewards for contravention of Rule No.159(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount AERIAL ACROBAT in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 20^th July 2011 and examined trainer Mr. M. Pratap Kamath and Jockey M.A. Milan. After deliberations, they decided to (a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. M. Pratap Kamath; (b) suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey M.A. Milan from 18-8-2011 to 23-10-2011 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No.159(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount AERIAL ACROBAT in the above race (not permitted to ride work).
