Racing Incidents

EASY (Ladjadj Stephane) took a fly jump.

CRACKERJACK (S.R. Santosh Kumar) did not get a clear run immediately after jumping out of the starting gates due to the crowding of the field.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of HIDDEN PLEASURES to the Stewards for Careless Riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that before passing the red marker post he came in sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz. JUST GREAT (Amyn Merchant), PASSAGE OF TIME (N. Rajesh) and CIAMPINO (S. John) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey B. Sreekanth. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to Jockey B. Sreekanth from 30-7-2011 to 3-8-2011 (both days inclusive) and on 18th August 2011 and fine him a sum of Rs.5,000/- for Careless Riding (Rule No.161(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount in the above race (permitted to ride work).

MUCHO (Himanshu) Was slowly away and lost about two lengths.
EASY (Ladjadj Stephane)  Took a fly jump.
MEXIKAN WAVE (N Ravinder Singh)  Was slowly away.

Permission was granted to Trainers M/s.M Pratap Kamath and J Saravanan to deputize on behalf of Trainers M/s.Z Darashah and G T Surender respectively, who could not attend the races for reasons beyond their control.
