RUMOUR PROOF (Ladjadj Stephane) which was very fractious on the way to the starting gates was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer before loading and was found to have sustained injury on right fore and was also trotting lame. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey N Rajesh the rider of SPEEDY AMIGO reported that he lost his right stirrup soon after the start, which he regained within a few strides.

Jockey B Mahesh the rider of VIGOROSO was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing severe interference to SARATOGA (R Vaideeshwaran) on his inside, approaching the 150 Metres, and again shifting ‘in’ and causing severe interference to RICH ROGUE (Afsar Khan), which, in turn, passed it on to NISHI GIRL (H G Rathod) who got unbalanced on the saddle in the last 20 Metres of the race.

SARATOGA (R Vaideeshwaran) sustained cut on right hind pastern.
