It was observed that the bridle on CALDERA (S Ramesh) had snapped at the Starting Gates. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starters Order. On examination of the equipment, it was found to have been not well maintained. Hence, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.

Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was fined Rs.2,000/- for declaring Jockey Harish to ride his charge GLORY BOUND when the said rider had already accepted to ride in the above race. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to declare Jockey J Paswan to ride TABLE MOUNTAIN.

Jockey S Guruprasad, the rider of SPARK OF KNIGHT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement).

Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of MR HURRICANE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (first infringement).

Jockey M Kumar, the rider of THE DAWN, reported that his mount grabbed its bit towards the right and shifted in causing interference to WALTER (A.R. Pradeep) despite his best efforts, approaching the 1000 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have sharp molars.  Hence trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence.

It was reported after the race that THE DAWN (M. Kumar) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi  was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Clubs Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
