As Jockey R Ravi, the declared rider of STERLING CRUISE, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 2^nd race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to substitute Jockey Mohd. Ghouse to ride STERLING CRUISE in place of the declared rider.

It was reported after the race that DECORATED (S John) had apparently lost its left hind shoe during the race.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S John, the rider of DECORATED, to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading use of the whip in that he excessively used the whip on his mount in the above race (third infringement). The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the last race and examined Jockey S John. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockeys Licence granted to Jockey S John from 24-10-2011 to 27-10-2011 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading use of the whip on his mount DECORATED in the above race (permitted to ride work).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g WIN AGAIN.
