Jockey S John, the rider of PREZZIE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to the horses on his inside, viz., SADDLER (Vinod Shinde) and FLASHING CROWN (Himanshu) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey S John, the rider of PREZZIE, placed Second by the Judge, objected against Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of ARTISAN, placed First for “in the last 250 Metres, the Winner bumped me, whereby my horse got unbalanced and repeatedly bumped me from  the last 100 Metres, which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to uphold the objection and revised the order of placings as under:

It was reported after the race that MY MUSKETEER (S Mubarak) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FLASHING CROWN (Himanshu) sustained cut injury on left fore inside knee.

LEATHER QUEEN (Amarpreet Singh) sustained multiple superficial injuries on left fore cannon.
