Racing Incidents

It was reported after the race that GOOD SHOT (Irvan Singh) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must not produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was observed that MANTHARA (R Vaibhav) accidentally stumbled and shifted ‘out’, thereby, inconveniencing SURYA PUTRA (M J Gautam Raj Urs), on its outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of MANTHARA, reported that he lost his whip, approaching the 300 Metres.

An enquiry is being held into the relative performance of AZITA (P S Chouhan), the winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.44 of the Mysore Winter Races 2011-12, i.e., The Chitradurga Plate – Div. I (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, held on Wednesday, 14th December, 2011, when ridden by Jockey Samuel Fargeat, it ran unplaced.
