Racing Incidents
Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of FIRE VAULT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to VERTEX (Irvan Singh) on his inside, approaching the 1000 Metres. 
 
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of GREENBRO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for the improper use of the whip on his mount during the Race. 
 
Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of GREENBRO, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’, thereby inconveniencing TIME TO TIME (R Vaibhav) on  the outside, rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was reported to have sharp molars and fresh cut injuries inside the mouth. Hence, Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (first infringement). 
 
An enquiry is being held into the excessive use of the whip by Jockey R Vaibhav on his mount TIME TO TIME during the Race (third infringement).
