STORMYRED (Afsar Khan) was extremely fractious in the gates, reared up and was stuck for a considerable period of time and flipped over. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to have sustained fracture on right hind tibia. Under the circumstances, it was withdrawn from the above race and later euthanized.

FRAME PARTNER (H G Rathod) was extremely fractious in the gates. On an immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to be lame on right hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey M Noornabi, the rider of VAYOMI, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’ throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. F Sirajuddin was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of RISING QUEEN, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey P. Mani, the rider of ENDURANCE, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the Winning Post.

Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of WALTER, was reprimanded in the presence of Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan for riding an indifferent race.
