Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to substitute Jockey S Babu to ride ABBYS BABY in place of the declared rider.

LAKE OF MAGIC (Shiva Kumar) was extremely fractious at the Gates and injured the rider who was certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Order.

Jockey K P G Appu, the rider of ABSENCE, reported that his mount was lugging ‘in’ in the final 200 Metres of the Race. Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of EXTEMPORISER, reported that his mount was running green after entering the straight.

It was reported after the Race that FAME AND GLORY (Saddam Hussain) pulled up lame. On examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to have sustained left fore P1 fracture. Subsequently, it was euthanized.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch g ABBYS BABY.
