Jockey S John, the rider of OPTIMUS PRIME, reported that he lost his reins momentarily approaching the 150 Metres which he regained within a few strides.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of ONE LIFE TO LOVE, reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ throughout the Race. Trainer Mr. R R Byramji was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of STRING ALONG, to the Stewards for careless riding [Rule No.161(i)], in that, he came ‘in’ sharply and crowded the horses on his inside, viz., INDIAN BOLT (P S Chouhan), VIGOROSO (K P G Appu), MADDOX (Imran Chisty) and OPTIMUS PRIME (S John), before passing the Red Marker Post and again, cut across and caused severe interference to IRON MARSHALL (D K Ashish), which struck his mount and stumbled, approaching the 1200 Metres.  The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Jockey B Sreekanth. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s License granted to Jockey B Sreekanth from 10-09-2012 to 21-09-2012 (both days inclusive) for careless riding [Rule 161(i)] on his mount, STRING ALONG, in the above Race [permitted to ride work].

LOVELY KISS (R Vaibhav) sustained clipped injury on right hind inside bulb of heel.

D’ARTAGNAN (A Sandesh) sustained linear injury above left hind fetlock.

STRING ALONG (B Sreekanth) sustained injuries on right hind above hock.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g ATLANTUS.
