Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to withdraw MAVERICAL on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained 3 inch long cut injury over right point of hip. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

BLUE MALA (A Ashok Kumar) was examined at the Starting Gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

DECCAN CHARGERS (Sikandar Ali Khan) planted and lost many lengths at the start and after rounding the final bend, despite the best efforts of the rider, it finished the Race on outer sand track. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey K P G Appu, the rider of GALAXY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming ‘in’ and causing interference to SEGOMO (S Chethan Kalay), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gate.

Jockey G Deepak Singh, the rider of A DANCETOREMEMBER, was reprimanded for shifting ‘out’ and inconveniencing SMART  EDITION (P S Chouhan) on his outside, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SUPREME STRENGTH, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’ after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey I A Khan, the rider of MAGNIFIQUE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (first infringement).

Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of ANGEL QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (first infringement).
