As Jockey Vivek, the declared rider of YOUNG GALLANT, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the First Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to substitute Jockey K P G Appu to ride YOUNG GALLANT.

DASARA QUEEN (S Mubarak) was extremely fractious on the way to the Starting Gates and bolted. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starters Order.

UNEXPECTED VISITOR (M Mabhu Babu) reared up and flipped over at the Starting Gates. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starters Order. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Clubs Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey K P G Appu, the rider of YOUNG GALLANT, reported that his mount was inclined to run out from the 1000 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of GALAXY QUEEN, reported that his saddle slightly shifted towards the right from the final 300 Metres of the Race. After due examination of the equipment after the Race, it was found to be in position and hence, no further action was taken beyond noting the incident.

Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of GAYLES STORM, reported that his mount was hanging out during the Race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Vijay Kumar, the rider of INDIAN HERO, reported that his mount was running out after rounding the final bend despite his efforts to keep it on a proper course. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was observed that SOUTHERN GRACKLE (Y S Srinath) was running green throughout the Race.
