Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to substitute Jockey Saddam Hussain to ride SPEEDY AMIGO in place of the declared rider.

After the race, it was reported by the Clerk of the Scales that Jockey Martin Wepner, the rider of TIME FLIES, placed Third by the Judge, weighed in 5 Kgs. less in relation to weighing out. The Stewards immediately ordered and held an enquiry into the incident and examined Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi, Jockey Martin Wepner and the other stable staff concerned. After deliberations, the Stewards, in terms of Rule No.180 of the BTC Rules of Racing, decided to disqualify TIME FLIES for the Race and revise the order of placings as under:

The Stewards directed the Stipendiary Stewards to conduct further enquiry into the incident and submit their report thereon.
