Racing Incidents

As Jockey Afsar Khan, the declared rider of ROCKET RONNIE, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 3rd race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to substitute Jockey N Rajesh to ride ROCKET RONNIE in place of the declared rider.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of ZAMINDAR, reported that his mount was inclined to run ‘out’ throughout the Race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that QUEENS CRUISE (Sarvan Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S Chandrashekar, the rider of SAMRAT, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (Second infringement).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dkb g ROCKET RONNIE.
