Racing Incidents

MOTHER EWA (Vijay Kumar) was extremely fractious in the Starting  Gates, injured itself, the rider was also injured and certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed  that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of ALABAMA, reported that his mount was hanging ‘in’ throughout the Race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars and fresh injuries. Hence, Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence.

LAKE OF MAGIC (Shiva Kumar) sustained injury on right shoulder and right stifle.
