Jockey Akshay Sundaram, the rider of RED ADMIRAL, lost his left stirrup soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates, which he could not regain throughout the Race, thereby, he could not offer any assistance to his mount throughout the Race. Further he brushed the false rails approaching the final 100 Metres of the race and got unbalanced.

Jockey S Sunil, the rider of FLIRTING KING, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of STARISTA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (second infringement.

Jockey Sarvan Kumar, the rider of MOTHER EWA, was reprimanded in the presence of trainer Mr. Rakesh for riding an indifferent Race.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of PRECEPT, to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding [Rule 161(ii)] on his mount in the above Race in that he did not infuse adequate vigour in riding out his mount with the aid of the whip after rounding the final bend till the finish. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey Shanth Kumar and the Trainer of the horse, Mr. J Sharavanan. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Shanth Kumar from 02-09-2013 to 27-09-2013 [both days inclusive] for unsatisfactory riding on his mount, PRECEPT, [Rule 161(ii)], in the above Race [permitted to ride work].
