The Stewards has decided to disqualify TRIUMPHANT, placed frist in the above race, due to the presence of "HYDROXY - LIGNOCAINE" in the urine sample.

So the order of placings were revised as under :-
Lovely Lady - Win
Superb Style - 2nd
Sweer N Smart - 3rd
Refreshed - 4th

Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of SUNDAY CRUZ, was fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping hands in the final 100 Metres of the Race.

Trainer Mr. S. Narredu [deputising for Trainer Mr. M. Narredu] and Jockey Suraj Narredu were questioned regarding the running and riding of LOVELY LADY.  The Trainer stated that (a) this horse had won a race during Bangalore Summer Meeting 2013; (b) in its 2nd run although much was expected of this horse, it did not perform to the expectations; (c) today he had instructed the rider to keep it in 4th/5th position and ride out in the straight; (d) the rider had fully followed his riding instructions and rode out fully in the straight; and (e) after observing the performance of the horse, he was of the  opinion that the distance of this race might have been a bit short.  The rider stated that he was at his mount throughout the race and rode out fully with the aid of the whip in the straight, but could only finish 2nd.  He was also of the opinion that the horse may require a little longer trip. Their explanations were noted.
