Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Z Darashah to withdraw BRAZILIAN on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that BEAUTIFUL DANCER (A R Pradeep) pulled up lame on left fore and also sustained injury on left fore pastern. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde and Jockey S.John were questioned regarding the running and riding of gr m QUEENS COLOUR in the above race. The Trainer stated that (a) he had specifically instructed the rider to take a good jump, wait till the horse catches the bit; (b) not to push the horse till it catches the bit as it does not relish that; (c) it always moves well from behind; (d) to gradually improve his position pull it out in the straight and ride out ; (e) he did not place any restrictions as to the use of whip on his charge; and (f)  as per his observation the rider rode out as per his instructions. The rider corroborating the statement of the Trainer, stated that  (a) his mount was lethargic at the beginning did not grab the bit; (b) he had a bit of traffic problem during the early stages of the race; (c) his mount did not have the initial speed; and (d) after entering the straight he pulled it out and rode out but could only finish 2nd. While noting their explanations, Jockey S John was informed to show greater enterprise in riding out his mount with the aid of the whip in future.
