As Jockey Sahanawaz, the declared rider of SMOKIN ACES, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore [deputizing for Trainer Mr. T Natraj) to substitute Jockey Md. Sameer to ride SMOKIN ACES in place of Jockey Sahanawaz, the declared rider.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde [deputizing for Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar) to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride FLYING TRICOLOUR in place of Jockey S John, the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, LADS ABILITY (A R Pradeep). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

IMPRESSIVE BOLT (A Imran Khan), jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced Lotus Pond (J Paswan), on his outside, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

ABSOLUTE MAJORITY (P S Chouhan) did not get a clear run, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gate, due to the crowding of the field.

LADS ABILITY (A R Pradeep) accidentally brushed the false rails passing 800 Metres.

Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of BRYANT PARK, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to ABSOLUTE MAJORITY (P C Chouhan),on his inside approaching the 350 Metres.

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of FLYING TRICOLOUR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and taking the ground of  SMOKIN ACES (Md. Sameer) moving from behind whereby it had to be checked and shifted out thereby causing interference to ABSOLUTE MAJORITY (P S Chouhan) on its outside.  Further RIO GRANDE (Anjar Alam) which was travelling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider and shift 'in', thereby hitting the false rails passing the 350 Metres.

Jockey A Imran Khan, the rider of IMPRESSIVE BOLT, was questioned for travelling wide rounding the final bend for no apparent reason. He stated that (a) his mount jumped awkwardly outwards, thereby, it lost some ground at the start; (b) as he improved his position, because of the soft underfoot condition, the kickback was too much, and, therefore, he deliberately, shifted his mount on the outside and rode out his mount with the aid of the whip; and (c) the horse responded well at the end by finishing Third. In view of the circumstances, his explanations were noted.

SWEET SURRENDER (Ajeet Kumar) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

SWEET SURRENDER (Ajeet Kumar) sustained gum injury.
