Racing Incidents

ERICA (A Vishwanath) was extremely fractious on its way to the Starting Gates, dislodged the rider and ran rider-less. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

Jockey P S Chouhan, the rider of ARCHER, was fined Rs.5,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to the horses on his inside, viz., ABSOLUTE PLEASURE (S John), UNEXPECTED VISITOR (B Sreekanth), AERIAL ACROBAT (Ajeet Kumar) and INFATUATION (R Ravi), approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey S John, the rider of ABSOLUTE PLEASURE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to BEAUTIFUL FIN (Irvan Singh ), on his inside, approaching the 400 Metres.

It was reported after the Race that the left fore shoe of ARCHER (P S Chouhan) had apparently come off during the Race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b f ABSOLUTE PLEASURE.
