Racing Incidents

Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of POTOMAC, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final 200 Metres of the Race.

Jockey P S Chouhan, the rider of APPLEJACK, placed Second by the Judge objected against Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of POTOMAC, placed First for “from the 450 Metres, the winner shifted 'out' and shifted 'in' repeatedly, thereby blocking my path. I had to shift 'in' again to make my run and that cost me the race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined Jockeys P S Chouhan and Saddam Hussain. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection. 

LAD LADY (F F Da Silva) sustained clipped injury on left hind inner bulb of heel.

LAD STAR (Imran Chisty) sustained cut injury on right stifle.
