Racing Incidents

Jockey I A Khan, the rider of JAZZBYTHEBAY, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post.

Jockey Md. Kareem, the rider of REAL POTENTIAL, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent Race.

Trainer Mr. M Bobby and Jockey S R Santosh Kumar were questioned regarding the running and riding of LITTLE ATHENA in the above Race.

The Trainer stated that (a) he had instructed the rider to keep his mount covered and wait till the last 250 Metres; (b) thereafter, to ride out vigorously as this horse has a tendency of stopping when shown the daylight; (c) the rider had fully followed his riding instructions and (d) that he was satisfied with his riding. The rider, when questioned, corroborated the statement made by the Trainer and added that he preserved his mount till about 250 Metres and rode out thereafter with
the aid of the whip, but, he could only finish Third. Their explanations were noted for future reference.

JAZZBYTHEBAY (I A Khan) sustained small cuts inside right hock.

ALLADIN (S Mubarak) sustained gum injury.
