ROCK ALL (Noorulla) was extremely fractious inside the Gates, hit the Gates, sustained head injuries and instantaneously died.

Jockey Shivnath Paswan, the rider of SHUBKAMNA, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 metres of the Race.

ICE BROWN (M D Paswan) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

It was reported after the Race that WINNING DESIRE (S Mubarak) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Shivnath Paswan, the rider of SHUBKAMNA, for incompetent riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] in that he did not exercise sufficient control over his mount in the last about 300 Metres under the use of the whip, whereby he first allowed it to drift 'out' to the outer edge of the Grass Track and, again, allowed it to drift 'in', thereby, jeopardizing his chances in the Race.  The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the last Race and examined Jockey Shivnath Paswan in the presence of the Master Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's Licence granted to Jockey Shivnath Paswan from 05-01-2014 to 17-01-2014 (both days inclusive) for incompetent riding [Rule No. 161(ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing] on his mount, SHUBKAMNA, in the above Race [permitted to ride work].
