Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to withdraw LAGOONA (Ajeet Kumar) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on right fore with injury over shoulder with inflammation. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

As Jockey S Mubarak, the declared rider of KNOWLEDGE, was certified medically unfit after his ride in the Fourth Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey S R Santosh Kumar to ride KNOWLEDGE in place of the declared rider.

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of FOR YOUE EYES ONLY, reported that his mount was inclined to run 'out', passing the 1000 Metres, and again, passing the 600 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Vakram Appachu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

BLACK DRAGON (B Mahesh) could not get a clear run, approaching the 300 Metres, due to a closely packed field.

It was observed that Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of VETTEL, accidentally struck the whip of Jockey Kavraj Singh, the rider of AERIAL ACROBAT, whereby he lost his whip, approaching the 250 Metres.

VETTEL (Y S Srinath) sustained cut injuries on right hind inside fetlock.
