Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi to withdraw SMOKEHEAD (N Tauseef Ahmed) on veterinary grounds as it was suffering from fever and systemic infection. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of DOMINICA, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not making sufficient efforts to improve his position during the early part of the Race and again, rounding the final bend, for no apparent reason.
