SILVER OAK (Imran Chisty) was extremely fractious in the Saddling Enclosure and refused to be saddled despite all the efforts and due to  its fractious behaviour, sustained injury to its mouth. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed to ensure that the pre-race behaviour of the horse improved before next accepting with it.

As Jockey Vijay Kumar, the declared rider of ICE BROWN, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Sixth Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to substitute Jockey J Paswan to ride ICE BROWN in place of the declared rider.

ICE BROWN (J Paswan) ran detached from the field. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. In view of its performance, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its performance improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.
