BRIGADE'S SUPREME (V R Jagdeesh) jumped awkwardly inwards soon after the start.

Jockey Mohd. Asif, the rider of DIVINE FRIENDSHIP, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'out' and causing interference to ABSOLUTE PLEASURE (Anil Bandaal) on his outside, which in turn, passed it onto AZURE FIRE (J H Christopher), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

Jockey S Sreekant, the rider of SECRET TREASURE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for dropping hands 200 Metres before the Winning Post.

It was reported after the Race that DIVINE DELIVERANCE (J Paswan) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Cerificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that VISIONIST (A Vishwanath) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Cerificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiarty Stewards questioned Trainer Mr. Pratap Kamath and Jockey Mr. J H Christopher as to the running and riding of AZURE FIRE. The Trainer stated that he had specifically instructed the Jockey to take a good jump, be in front and ride out after entering the straight, but in this race, as his horse jumped out of the gates, it suffered a bad interference and the rider could not go to the front. He added that this horse always performed well if ridden in front and never relished coming from behind and therefore he had always instructed the riders to ride in such a fashion and that either during its win or otherwise, it had been ridden in front. Jockey J H Christopher corroborating the statement of the Trainer added that as he received a bad interference at the start, he could not follow the instructions and thereafter, despite his best efforts, his horse did not respond well.
