Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw EVEREST (Arshad Alam) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflamed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

GOLDEN CRUISE (Shobhan Babu) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SPONTANEOUS (P Kiran Rai) on its inside at the Start.

REPUBLICAN STAR (J H Christopher), veered 'out' very badly after jumping 'out' of the Starting Gate, lost many lengths, was running very erratic, whereby, it started shifting 'out' further to the outer portion of the grass track despite the efforts of the rider, and, in the process, inconvenienced POWER OF TIME (A Ramu) and also, AMANDA (B L Naveen), approaching the 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. G Aravind [deputizing for Trainer Mr. S Ganapathy] was informed to once again get it checked by his Veterinarian, take appropriate corrective measures and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of FELLOWSHIP, reported that he lost his whip at the Gates.

It was reported after the Race that FELLOWSHIP (Melvyn Maseyk) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that TAKE OFF (Vijay Kumar) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HAUTE ECOLE (Janardhan Paswan) sustained cut on right fore coronet.

REPUBLICAN STAR (J H Christopher) sustained cut on back of right hind fetlock.
