Racing Incidents

As Jockey Anil Baandal, the declared rider of FLYINGHORSE, could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagements for the day due to reasons beyond his control, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. K Somashekar to substitute Jockey A
Ashok Kumar to ride FLYINGHORSE in place of the declared rider.

FLYINGHORSE (A Ashok Kumar), after jump out, did not raise a fluent gallop, thereby, losing few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. K Somashekar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey A Velu, the rider of BLACK DRAGON, was reprimanded for travelling wide, rounding the final bend, for no apparent reason.

Jockey C Harish, the rider of YOUNG GALLANT, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course, after entering the straight.

HAUTE ECOLE (Indar Jeet Singh), sustained a cut injury inside right hind fetlock.

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g SMART MISTRAL.
