The Stewards ordered an enquiry into the running and riding of ASTRUM, trained by Mr. Neil Darashah and ridden by Jockey Y S Srinath, in the above Race. They held an enquiry after the last race on Thursday, the 9^th October, 2014 and examined both Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah and Jockey Y S Srinath. The Stewards also considered the veterinary report submitted by the Club's Veterinary Officer reading as follows;

Horse Name: Astrum b g 3 yrs, Trainer: Mr. Neil Darashah

The bay gelding ASTRUM, 3 yrs, under the charge of Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah, was impounded for veterinary examination and found to be trotting sound. Endoscopy examination revealed that the gelding has not suffered from EIPH. However, grade 2 paralysis of left arytenoid cartilage was noticed.

After deliberations, they decided to note the explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah and Jockey Y S Srinath. However, Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

CHARLETTETOWN (M J Gautam Raj Urs) sustained cut injuries inside right hind cannon.
