Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to substitute Jockey M Kumar to ride AANCHAL BEAUTY in place of Jockey Afsar Khan, the declared rider.

Jockey B Harish, the rider of PRECEPT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to TIME FLIES (S John) on  his inside, passing the 1000 Metres and again for tightening TIME FLIES (S John) on its inside, approaching the 900 Metres.

Jockey B Harish, the rider of PRECEPT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to TIME FLIES (S John) on his outside, in the last 150 Metres of the Race. 

Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa and Jockey Melvyn Maseyk were questioned regarding the running and riding of MISS INTERNATIONAL in the above Race. The Trainer stated that (a) this horse always comes from behind and finishes on well at the end; (b) it has won two Races in similar fashion earlier during Mysore Summer Races 2014; (c) on one of the occasions, Jockey Melvyn Maseyk had won on his charge; (d) Since the rider had been working on this horse, he declared Jockey Melvyn Maseyk to ride in this Race; (e) he had instructed the rider to take a good jump, not to urge the horse too much in the early part as it did not relish such a manner of running, to come 'out' in the straight and ride out his mount; (f) the rider had followed his instructions and rode out hands and heels in the straight, but, did not use the whip as, in the rider's opinion, since the horse was travelling well hands and heels, the Jockey did not have to use the whip; (g) under the circumstances, he could not take exception to the riding of Jockey Melvyn Maseyk on his charge. The rider, when questioned, stated that (a) this horse runs well from behind; (b) he has won once on it earlier, coming from behind; and (c) in the straight, since the horse was galloping fluently when ridden hands and heels, he did not use the whip. Their explanations were noted for future reference.

Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi and Jockey Anil Baandal were questioned regarding the running and riding of NO BOUNDARIES in the above Race. Trainer stated as follows: (a) He got this horse from Western India and it has run twice with him; (b) As it used to relish running well in front, he had instructed the rider to hit the front or keep his mount in the second or third position and ride out in the straight; (c) In its last outing, in the higher class, carrying a lower weight, the horse hit the front and just lost the Race narrowly in the last 100 Metres; (d) Since this Race was confined to Mysore based horses, he ran it in the above Race, although it was a 1200 Metres' Race; (e) As per his observation, since the pace of the Race was too fast, his charge could not pace with the frontrunners and was ridden in the mid bunch; (f) After entering the straight, the rider rode out fully, but, the horse did not accelerate and perform well; and (g) As instructed by the Authorities, the horse was sent for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported; When questioned, the Jockey corroborated the statement of the Trainer as regards the riding instructions and added that as the initial pace was too fast, his mount could not pace with the frontrunners and in the straight, despite his best efforts, the response was not forthcoming. While noting their explanations, Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was cautioned to be more judicious in the placement and running of his charges in future.
