Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.10,000/- for the discrepancies in shoeing in respect of his charge, BEYOND THANKFUL (Y S Srinath) [second infringement].

Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of BEYOND THANKFUL, placed Second by the Judge, objected against Jockey Vivek, the rider of PRECIOUS REPLICA, placed First by the Judge, “for cutting across, bumping and boring in the last 100 Metres, whereby my horse stumbled and almost caused similar reaction to the horse on the railing and this cost me a certain race”.

Jockey A Ramu, the rider of ARTIC ROSE, placed Fourth by the Judge, objected against Jockey Vivek, the rider of PRECIOUS REPLICA, placed First by the Judge, and also, against Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of BEYOND THANKFUL, placed Second by the Judge, “for coming in very sharply onto Y S Srinath, who, in turn, passed it to me and I was almost dislodged after losing balance and that cost me the race”.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards also held an enquiry into the running of the Race. They also considered all the three objections and examined the Jockeys concerned. Further to the hearing of objections and arising out of the Stewards enquiry and after due deliberations, the Stewards decided to
(a) uphold the objection lodged by Jockey Y S Srinath, (BEYOND THANKFUL) against Jockey Vivek (PRECIOUS REPLICA);
(b) uphold the objection lodged by Jockey A Ramu (ARTIC ROSE) against Jockey Vivek (PRECIOUS REPLICA);
(c) overrule the objection lodged by Jockey A Ramu (ARTIC ROSE) against Jockey Y S Srinath (BEYOND THANKFUL);
(d) disqualify PRECIOUS REPLICA (Vivek) for the Race and
(e) revise the order of placings as under:

SPARK OF BEAUTY II
ARTIC ROSE III
CRRISP IV

An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey Vivek, the rider of  PRECIOUS REPLICA, in the above Race.

It was reported after the Race that b g CRRISP (S Chethan Kalay) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g BEYOND THANKFUL.
