ALWAYS ON TOP (R Vaibhav) took a fly jump, at the start.

BRILLANTE (Shivnath Paswan) planted, lost many lengths at the start and, thereafter, ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future and also, not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

YAMAS (S Mubarak), ran detached from the field till rounding the final bend. Trainer Mr. C D Mpnnappa was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Trainer Mr.Z.Darashah and Jockey Irvan Singh were questioned regarding the running and riding of MALKIA. The Trainer stated that: a) This horse was taken over by him for training from Western India and this was its first run under him; b) As per his experience and the knowledge gained on this charge, it would be well suited over a distance of a mile or more and therefore he chose to run it in this race; c) He had instructed the rider to keep it in 4th, 5th position, keep it in mid bunch and travel the shortest way along the rails; d) After entering the straight to ride out his mount with the aid of the whip; e) As per the observation, his charge was slow into the stride and the rider improved position along the rails and kept in a good position; f) After rounding the final bend when he attempted to make a move along the rails, he could not get a clear run between the 400 & 300 Metres; g) Thereafter, the rider had to shift his mount out and he rode out and his charge and could finish only third; The Jockey when questioned, corroborated the statement made by the Trainer and added that the horse took time to accelerate and after rounding the final bend when he improved his position he was denied a clear run and hence had to change course and he rode out with the aid of the whip but could only finish third.

After repeated viewing of the CCTV replay of the above Race, the explanations tendered by both the Trainer and the Jockey were noted.

An Enquiry is being held into the relatively improved performance of b m NO DOUBT, the winner of this race, trained by Mr. C.V.G.K.Kishore and ridden by Jockey A.R.Pradeep in relation to its previous run in Race No.12 of the Mysore Winter Races 2014-15, i.e. The Big Deal Plate – Div.II (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, run on Wednesday, 19th November, 2014, when ridden by the same rider, it ran unplaced.

GUNPOWDER (S Chethan Kalay) sustained cut injury on right fore coronet.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m NO DOUBT.
