Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. T Natraj to withdraw AFTERNOON DELIGHT (A Ramu) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to have sustained injury and inflamation of left fore mid third tendon. He was informed
that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

MOON RAKER (Janardhan Paswan) was examined at the Gates and was observed to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. FOR YOUR EYES ONLY (A Ashok Kumar) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved
