Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore to withdraw NO DOUBT on compassionate grounds.

As Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the declared rider of THE SCIENTIST, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Fourth Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to substitute Jockey Mohd. Feroz
to ride THE SCIENTIST in place of the declared rider.

THE SCIENTIST (Mohd. Feroz) was extremely fractious at the Gates and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders.

WINTER WIND (Shiva Kumar) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the
Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

IMPEDIMENTA (Ajeet Kumar) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the  satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey A Vishwanath, the rider of ESOTERICAL, was reprimanded for not keeping a straight course in the last 300 Metres of the Race.

Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge, STARSTRUCK (Nitin Singh), the Winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.27 of the Mysore Winter Races 2014-15, i.e., The Pattadakal Plate (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 40 to 65, run on Fourth Day, Wednesday, 3rd December, 2014, when ridden by Jockey M Kumar, it ran unplaced. The Trainer stated that (a) last run was its first run under him after taking over the horse; (b) when it ran first time in Race No.27, it was a seven furlongs' Race and also, an open class and the rider did not have a clear passage during the closing stages of the Race; (c) the rider as well had stated that six furlongs suits this horse better; (d) since there was a six furlongs' Race advertised today for horses rated 40 to 65, 4 years old and over, therefore, he accepted to run this horse in this Race and it won the Race. While noting his explanations, he was cautioned to be more judicious in future.

It was reported after the Race that WINTER WIND (Shiva Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that the right fore shoe of SALSA TOUCH (J Paswan) had apparently come off during the Race.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g STARSTRUCK.
